Christ Ahnsahnghong From Korea: The Land in the East

When I first attended the World Mission Society Church of God, one of the most astonishing aspects was learning about Ahnsahnghong from Korea. Not because Second Coming Christ came as a man, but because He came from Korea. In my last post, I wrote about Ahnsahnghong’s death—it wasn’t until I studied the Bible that I realized the reason He had to die. Well, it is the same with him being from Korea. We have to study the Bible to understand the reasoning.

Prophecy About Jesus’ Birth

In the Old Testament, God prophesied where the Messiah would be born so that when it happened, people would recognize Him.

Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

And Jesus Christ fulfilled this prophecy.

Matthew 2:1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?”

In the same way, the Bible also prophesies where Jesus would be born at His second coming.

Purpose of Second Coming Christ

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

The purpose of Christ’s second coming is to bring salvation. So wherever the work of salvation starts is the birthplace of Second Coming Christ.

Revelation 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”

The angel from the East brings the seal of the living God. So, first of all, what is the seal of God?

The Seal of God is Salvation

John 6:27 “Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

God placed his seal on Jesus Christ. So if we become one with Christ, we can have the seal of God, which is salvation.

John 6:53-56 Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.”

We can remain one with Christ—the seal of God—when we eat His flesh and drink His blood. Through the Passover, Christ promised that we receive His flesh and blood. In other words, the New Covenant Passover is the seal of God and the sign of salvation. After its abolishment in AD 325, the New Covenant Passover was reestablished first in South Korea in 1948, according to biblical prophecies.

Christ Coming From the East

Isaiah 46:10-11 “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do.”

Isaiah 41:2-4 “Who has stirred up one from the east, calling him in righteousness to his service? He hands nations over to him and subdues kings before him….He pursues them and moves on unscathed, by a path his feet have not traveled before. Who has done this and carried it through….I, the Lord — with the first of them and with the last — I am he.”

From long ago, God prophesied a man from a far-off land in the East would fulfill God’s plan of salvation in the last days. Check out the video below to see how Christ Ahnsahnghong from Korea is the one who fulfilled this prophecy.
