The Bible Says Christ Cannot Die Again
How can Ahnsahnghong be Christ if He died? Romans 6:9 clearly states that Jesus won’t ever die again. Yet Ahnsahnghong died on February 25, 1985. Prove me wrong please.
Romans 6:9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
Irecently received the comment above from a reader and decided to write this post in response. Many people use this one verse to try to disprove ALL the prophecies Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled concerning Second Coming Christ. To answer this question simply, we can’t take ONE VERSE out of a Bible that contains 66 books with 31,102 verses and misinterpret it without trying to understand the context of that verse and the teachings of God in the whole Bible.
Here’s another example like Romans 6:9.
Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior.
In the time of Isaiah, the Israelites believed in Jehovah God. And Jehovah said He was the only Savior. Neither before nor after Him was there another name of the Savior. Anyone who believed another name was going against this teaching. But nowadays, Christians around the world recognize Jesus as the Savior. So does that mean that everyone believes a false Savior? Should we ONLY believe in Jehovah as the Savior because there is one verse in the Bible that says there is no other Savior except Jehovah?
In the time of Isaiah, Jehovah was the only name of the Savior. However, in that very book of Isaiah, there is also a prophecy that Jehovah would come in the human form (Is 9:6). Jesus fulfilled this prophecy (Lk 1:31). Jesus is Jehovah in the human form. That is why, in the book of Acts, the apostles recognized “Jesus” as the name of the Savior. So Isaiah 9:6 is correct because it applied to the age of the Father. And the book of Acts is correct because it applied to the age of the Son.
Anyone who understands the prophecies about Second Coming Christ will also recognize that Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled them. Two thousand years ago, Jesus’ disciples believed He was the Savior because they believed and understood the prophecies in the Scriptures about the coming of the Messiah.
We can’t judge on one verse alone. We have to fully understand the prophecy about Jesus’ second coming.
Taking things out of context.
Another error is to try to interpret Romans 6:9 without understanding the context.
Romans 6:3-9 (NLT) Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again.”
In these verses, the writer of Hebrews explains that Jesus resurrected. Jesus resurrected as a spiritual body. Therefore, HIS SPIRITUAL BODY cannot die. Because Jesus resurrected, we can understand that He is an eternal being (1 Corinthians 15:44).
Romans 6:9 is emphasizing that Jesus died in the flesh but was resurrected and His spirit cannot die.
So to answer the question about Christ Ahnsahnghong passing away even though the Bible says Jesus cannot die again:
- We can’t judge based on one verse.
- We can’t misinterpret a verse without understanding its context and the real meaning behind it.
- We can’t ignore ALL the prophecies in the Bible about Second Coming Christ. Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled ALL of them.
Let’s not follow the example of the religious leaders of 2,000 years ago who crucified their own Savior because they could not see past His physical appearance. If we really believe in God and in the Bible, we have to follow the example of the apostles; they believed the prophecies of the Bible concerning Christ. Because of this, they were able to recognize Jesus as the Christ.

Those who do not want to receive Christ Ahnsahnghong will deny any evidence while God’s people admit every evidence in the Bible!
Wow! Thanks to Father & Mother. It is true Christ Ahnsahnghong is our 2nd coming Christ because he has fulfilled every bit of prophesy. As a Christian, we should see it with the eye of prophesy not listening to those who denied Jesus’ teaching of the new covenant Sabbath, Passover and the 7 feasts.
A most excellent post! This verse has confused many people in regards to Christ Ahnsahnghong. But by looking at the context of the chapter it’s clear to see that Christ in his spiritual form will never die.
When we study other bible prophecies concerning the second coming Christ it is absolutely necessary for the Christ to come in the flesh again and then pass away at a specific time.
Ro. 6:9 is to teach us that we will also resurrect as spiritual body(eternal being) and can not die again like Jesus did. If Jesus came again in the flesh, not in spiritual body, it is another story. He can die, I mean physically die- since we know God, eternal being cannot die, just change His form of existence.
Christ Ahnsahnghong had to finish His earthly life to fulfill the prophecy of “David’s Throne.” If He didn’t die, I would not accept Him as God. Plz See http://crc.ac/did-christ-ahnsahnghong-cannot-be-christ-because-he-died/
Beautiful. I get it.
There can be a first death (for Christ and to those who believe) but there cannot be a second death like the kind Revelation 20:14 mentions.
